Guide Brad Petersen is a true Colorado fishing expert with over 40 years of experience on the state's waters. He has dedicated over 30 years of his life to the fishing industry and has become a well-respected angler and teacher in the field. Brad's passion for fishing and education has been a driving force throughout his career, including getting BS in fishery biology from Colorado State University.


In 1989, Brad started working for In-Fisherman at Camp Fish, where he developed a love for teaching people about fishing. He went on to be hired by Colorado Parks & Wildlife in 1994 to help establish their angler education programs. Since then, Brad has made it his mission to share his knowledge and passion with anyone willing to learn. In 2023, he started NoCo Fishing News weekly newsletter on Substack, its become the leading source for fishing information and current conditions in Northern Colorado 


Brad is not only a teacher, but he's also an accomplished angler. He has competed in Walleye tournaments for many years, with 12 top 10 finishes in a 4 year span. He has been a member of the Colorado Walleye Association Team of the Year twice, in '16 and '18. Brad has even contributed to the Terry Wickstrom Outdoors radio show, sharing his insights with fellow anglers. 


In addition to his work in the fishing industry, Brad has a deep passion for sharing the outdoors with kids and those new to fishing. This passion started at Camp Fish and continues today as he assists in the recreation of the new and improved program. Brad has been part of various outdoor shows, podcasts, and videos throughout the years, always striving to educate others about fishing and the great outdoors.


Brad Peterson specializes in guided fishing trips in northern Colorado. They offer a variety of fishing techniques including jig fishing, casting, and trolling for a range of fish species such as Walleye, Bass, Catfish, Trout, and Panfish. The company provides all the necessary quality equipment and even provides water to keep clients hydrated during the trip. Capt. Brad also offers a unique service of cleaning and filleting the catch at the end of the trip, making it ready to cook. Clients must purchase a Colorado fishing license before coming aboard.


Boat Details:

The 18' Lund, powered by a reliable 135HP Mercury engine, is a versatile boat perfect for fishing and exploring. Originally built in 2004, it combines durability with performance. With a maximum speed of 38 knots, this boat offers thrilling rides on the water while comfortably accommodating up to four guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone on board.

BALANCE: The remaining balance is due on the trip date as either Credit or Cash. 


GUEST CANCELLATION: In the event that you must cancel your booking, you must do so 3 days prior to your trip date to receive a refund on your deposit. Rescheduling is encouraged and dependent on guide availability.


GUIDE CANCELLATION: In the rare event that your guide must cancel due to inclement weather, health, or equipment issues, you will have the option to reschedule your charter for a later date or receive a refund on your deposit.


TIPPING: Tips to your guide are greatly appreciated for your quality trip.
